The city is located in the south of Ecuador, known as the cultural capital of the country. Accessible from different points. By land, it is connected to all the cities of Ecuador and the north of Peru, by air it can be reached from Guayaquil and Quito on commercial flights, arriving at the airport of Ciudad de Catamayo (30 minutes approx. from Loja).
